Horrific Traffic Collision on Interstate 10 Claims an Ontario Woman’s Life

Cabazon, CA (April 11, 2025) – 40-year-old Dianna Bocanegra of Ontario was killed in a horrific big rig collision on I-10 early Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the frightening crash happened around 12:06 a.m. near Haugan-Lehmann Way.

Reports say that a big rig struck a gray Volkswagen Jetta on eastbound Interstate 10 near Haugan-Lehmann Way in Cabazon, resulting in a fatal crash.

Bocanegra was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. Authorities temporarily closed lanes under a SigAlert, which was later lifted as traffic returned to normal.

CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
