St. Charles, MO (July 23, 2025) – A tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning when a pickup truck struck and killed 28-year-old Dillan Goodling Truman near Industrial Drive.

According to authorities, the fatal incident happened at around 1 a.m. near Harry S. Truman Boulevard.

Reports say that Goodling was crossing Truman Boulevard when a Chevrolet Silverado hit him. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Goodling dead.

The driver of the Silverado stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities by giving a statement. The St. Charles Police Department’s Traffic Division carried out a crash reconstruction and continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
