5 People Hospitalized in Kingwood Multi-Vehicle Accident on Eastex Freeway and Northpark Drive

KINGWOOD, TX (December 1, 2025) – Sunday morning, a disastrous 3-vehicle crash on Eastex Freeway and Northpark Drive injured five fire department personnel.

The incident happened at around 1:40 a.m. on Eastex Freeway and Northpark Drive.

According to reports, an 18-wheeler struck another vehicle for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the vehicle to strike a fire engine that was responding to another crash.

Moreover, responders transported four firefighters to a hospital. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the 18-wheeler with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Eastex Freeway but has long since reopened.

The firefighters are now in recovery, and have been identified as Captain Iris Rodriguez, Firefighter Benjamin Abbott, Firefighter Colbey Bailey, and Engineer Operator Jason Thompson.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued investigating the Kingwood firetruck crash.
