Injuries Reported in Adelanto Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 395 and Auburn Street

ADELANTO, CA (August 17, 2026) – Saturday night, five people sustained injuries in a disastrous 4-vehicle crash on Highway 395 and Auburn Street.

The incident happened at around 9:15 p.m. on Highway 395 and Auburn Street.

Initial reports indicated that two patients suffered critical injuries and two others had minor injuries. The condition of the fifth patient was not immediately known. All five people were able to get out of the vehicles without assistance, and no air ambulances were requested.

Three patients were taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Apple Valley, while two others were transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center in Victorville.

Firefighters also reported that one of the vehicles caught fire. An AMR ambulance was seen off the roadway in nearby soft dirt, with barbed wire around its tires, but there was no immediate indication it was involved in the crash.

Highway 395 was temporarily closed in both directions as emergency crews treated the injured and cleared the scene. The circumstances leading to the crash were not immediately available.
