Injuries Reported in Rowland Heights Bicycle Accident on Colima Road and Batson Avenue

ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA (July 28, 2026) – Sunday night, a disastrous bicycle crash on Colima Road and Batson Avenue sent 1 person to the hospital.

The incident involving a bicyclist who was hit by an SUV happened at around 10:45 p.m. on Colima Road and Batson Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a cyclist suffered a major leg injury after being struck by a sport utility vehicle.

Officers found the cyclist awake and breathing at the scene. The victim was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

CHP noted that the collision occurred a little more than six hours after another bicyclist-versus-pickup truck crash in the San Gabriel Valley.
