2 People Hospitalized in Stockton Boat Accident near Deep Water Channel and Buckley Cove

STOCKTON, CA (June 15, 2025) – Saturday morning, a disastrous boat crash near Deep Water Channel and Buckley Cove injured two people.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 11:45 a.m. near the Deep Water Channel and Buckley Cove.

According to the Stockton Police Department, a sailboat crashed for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported a 64-year-old man and a 78-year-old man to a hospital, both with critical injuries. Also, a 69-year-old female declined further treatment at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the SPD continued investigating the crash.
