CAJON PASS, CA (January 28, 2025) – Sunday night, a disastrous head-on crash on Highway 138 near Interstate 15 injured one person.

The incident happened around 5:00 p.m. on Highway 138, 2 miles east of Interstate 15.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck pulling a lime green Jeep on a trailer collided head-on with a red Toyota Tundra.

Moreover, responders transported one person to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that speed, and wet roads while taking a sharp corner played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
