2 People Injured in Disastrous Head-On Crash on US 395

Injuries Reported in Colville Auto Accident on US 395

COLVILLE, WA (April 21, 2026) – Sunday, a disastrous head-on crash on US 395 injured two people.

The incident happened on US 395, one mile north of Colville.

Troopers said a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle.

After the impact, one vehicle came to rest in a northbound ditch, while the other rolled over and also ended up in the same ditch.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the southbound driver, a 65-year-old man from Missouri, was taken to Providence Mount Carmel Hospital with injuries that were not specified. He was cited for crossing the center line.

A 24-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was not injured.

Troopers said the northbound driver, a 62-year-old woman from Tonasket, was not hurt. Her passenger was injured but did not require transport to a hospital.
