RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (August 26, 2026) – On Monday, authorities arrested one person after a disastrous hit-and-run in Rancho Cordova.

According to reports, a black truck collided with multiple vehicles.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the driver of the black truck attempted to flee the scene but was detained. Then, authorities said that the driver of the black truck was driving while under the influence, and a mini AK-47 firearm was found inside the vehicle.

Furthermore, officers booked the suspect into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
