2 People Hospitalized after Disastrous Minivan Crash on West Zora Street [Jasper County, MO]

Injuries Reported in Jasper County Auto Accident on West Zora Street

JASPER COUNTY, MO (May 31, 2026) – Friday afternoon, a disastrous minivan crash on West Zora Street sent 2 people to the hospital.

The incident involving a minivan that fell into a creek happened just after 3:00 p.m. on West Zora Street.

Emergency responders from Carl Junction Fire Department, METS Ambulance, and the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified.

According to the highway patrol, a westbound minivan left the roadway to the right and entered a body of water.

Two people were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver told troopers they swerved to avoid a deer before the crash.

Moreover, the minivan was later removed from the water by H&H Wrecker.
