Injuries Reported in Claremont Multi-Vehicle Accident on 10 Freeway and Indian Hill Boulevard

CLAREMONT, CA (May 21, 2026) – Wednesday morning, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on 10 Freeway and Indian Hill Boulevard sent 1 person to the hospital.

The incident happened at around 4:06 a.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway and the Indian Hill Boulevard off-ramp, California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig said.

According to a witness and the California Highway Patrol website, a white SUV was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it collided with a black sedan.

Video from the scene showed both vehicles with major front-end damage, while debris and broken glass were scattered across the eastbound freeway lanes.

One person was seen being loaded into an ambulance, and traffic backed up on the freeway following the crash.

CHP issued a SigAlert closing four eastbound lanes at Indian Hill for about an hour, according to authorities.
