3 People Hurt in Boulder Multi-Vehicle Accident on 28th Street and Winding Trail Drive

BOULDER, CO (November 19, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on 28th Street and Winding Trail Drive injured three people.

The incident happened at around 3:10 p.m. on 28th Street and Winding Trail Drive.

According to the Boulder Police, a northbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle. Then, the southbound vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle, while the wrong-way vehicle struck another car.

Moreover, responders transported the wrong-way driver and a driver of the two northbound cars to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed 28th Street between Jay Road and Winding Trail Drive but has long since reopened.
