IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA (December 16, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, authorities reported injuries in a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 8 near Dunaway Road.

The incident happened on eastbound Interstate 8 just west of Dunaway Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved five vehicles, including a vehicle that rolled over.

Moreover, responders said that five people sustained minor injuries in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
