CAMDEN COUNTY, MO (July 13, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, a disastrous patrol vehicle crash on US Highway 54 and Business Route 5 injured one person.

The incident happened at around 2:!0 p.m. on US Highway 54 and Business Route 5.

According to reports, a southbound 2019 Volkswagen Jetta struck a Camdenton Police Department SUV that entered the intersection against a red traffic signal with its emergency lights and sirens activated.

Moreover, Mercy Ambulance transported the 33-year-old police officer to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
