Injuries Reported in Oxnard Pedestrian Accident on Oxnard Boulevard

OXNARD, CA (April 23, 2026) – Tuesday afternoon, a woman sustained injuries in a disastrous pedestrian crash on Oxnard Boulevard.

The incident involving a pedestrian pinned between two vehicles happened just before 4:45 p.m. on Oxnard Boulevard, said Fire Chief Alex Hamilton of the department.

Firefighters responded to a scene where a vehicle had struck a woman who was standing behind her parked car and became pinned between the two vehicles, according to officials. The woman was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries, said Hamilton.

Cmdr. Kevin Baysinger of the Oxnard Police Department said the male driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He added that drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor at this time.

Northbound South Oxnard Boulevard between Date Street and Five Points was closed during the investigation and reopened around 5:30 p.m.
