SUPERIOR, CO (June 29, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, a disastrous pedestrian crash on US Highway 36 injured one person.

The incident happened at around 3:45 p.m. on US Highway 36.

According to reports, a Honda CR-V attempted to avoid a collision with a broken-down Mercury Mountaineer and struck the driver of an Acura RDX, who pulled onto the shoulder lane and was walking out of the car towards the Mercury Mountaineer.

Moreover, responders rushed the 24-year-old male driver of the Acura to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
