LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA (July 13, 2026) – Sunday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a disastrous rollover crash on Ortega Highway near Mile Marker 7.8.

The incident happened at around 2:40 p.m. on the Ortega (74) Highway near mile marker 7.8, west of Lake Elsinore, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck an embankment, overturned, and came to rest on its roof.
