HOUSTON, TX (March 29, 2026) – Friday night, a disastrous rollover crash on Smith Street and Pease Street injured one person.

The incident happened on Smith Street and Pease Street.

According to the Houston Police Department, an officer and a K9 unit were responding to a call when it collided with a black Jeep that ran a red light. Then, the police cruiser rolled over during the crash.

Moreover, responders transported the HPD officer and the k9 to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, officers said that the driver of the Jeep was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
