1 Dead in St Louis Auto Accident on 100 E Carrie Avenue

ST LOUIS, MO (September 29, 2025) – Early Sunday, a person died in a disastrous single-car crash on 100 E Carrie Avenue.

The incident happened just before 5:15 a.m. on 100 E Carrie Avenue.

Police say one man was killed and another seriously injured after a single-car crash in St. Louis left a vehicle overturned on railroad tracks.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers from the accident reconstruction team responded to the 100 block of E. Carrie Avenue, where they found the overturned car. Two men were taken to the hospital; one of them died from his injuries, while the other remains hospitalized with severe injuries.

Investigators determined the car was traveling eastbound on a gravel service road when it ran off the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned before coming to rest on the railroad tracks. During the rollover, a rear-seat passenger was ejected and died at the scene.
