According to reports, a westbound vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed lost control and crashed into a pole. Then, a tire from the trunk of the vehicle rolled out and struck a pedestrian.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the vehicle and the pedestrian to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
