2 People Missing in Disastrous Single-Vehicle Crash on Deer Creek Road [Malibu, CA]

1 Person Hurt in Malibu Auto Accident on Deer Creek Road

MALIBU, CA (December 4, 2024) – Sunday morning, two people were missing after a disastrous single-vehicle crash on Deer Creek Road.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. on Deer Creek Road.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Ryan Ayala, a white Cadillac Escalade with three occupants crashed 1,000 feet down an embankment. Then, a passenger of the vehicle managed to exit the vehicle and get home where a family member transported him to a hospital for treatment.

Moreover, the passenger then tried to reach the two other occupants of the vehicle, to no avail. Authorities said that the passenger called the CHP and a search party including helicopters and drones started.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that as of Tuesday, the two people were still unaccounted for.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
