Hesperia Auto Accident on Highway 138 and 15 Freeway

HESPERIA, CA (August 6, 2026) – Wednesday morning, a disastrous vehicle crash on Highway 138 and 15 Freeway led to minor injuries.

The incident involving a white 2014 Honda Pilot SUV happened at around 6:50 a.m. on Highway 138 on the Hesperia side of Cajon Pass.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an SUV overturned and came to rest on its roof, blocking the roadway.

Photos from the scene showed debris scattered across the highway as traffic backed up behind the crash.

Traffic on the two-lane highway was disrupted while emergency crews responded. CHP officers and a tow company later removed the overturned vehicle and reopened the roadway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Victorville CHP station.
