Man Injured in Disastrous Single-Vehicle Crash on Highway Y

Injuries Reported in Pulaski County Auto Accident on Highway Y near Laredo Road

PULASKI COUNTY, MO (July 19, 2026) – Friday morning, a 73-year-old man sustained injuries in a disastrous single-vehicle crash on Highway Y near Laredo Road.

The incident occurred at about 10:03 a.m. on Highway Y near Laredo Road, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2022 Jeep Compass traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox, and then hit four culverts.

A passenger, a Dixon man who was wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Phelps Health.

The 29-year-old Dixon woman driving the Jeep was not wearing a seat belt. She was not reported to be injured.

The Jeep was totaled and towed from the scene.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
