2 People Hurt in Crawford County Auto Accident on Interstate 44 near Cuba

CRAWFORD COUNTY, MO (April 22, 2025) – Sunday night, a disastrous single-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 near Cuba injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:39 p.m. on Interstate 44 near Cuba.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2006 Ford F350 hydroplaned, went off the left side of the roadway, and collided with a median cable.

Moreover, responders rushed the 22-year-old female driver of the vehicle to Creve Coeur Hospital with serious injuries. Then, paramedics transported a 27-year-old male passenger of the vehicle to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan with moderate injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
