The incident involving a single car happened just after 6:15 a.m. on Interstate 5 near Milepost 39.

A car traveling too fast for the conditions hit ice near milepost 39, causing it to slide and overturn, coming to rest on its side in the center lane and blocking traffic.

According to WSP, the driver, a 46-year-old woman, and two passengers—a 20-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man—were taken to a nearby hospital.
