FRESNO, CA (December 19, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a CHP officer sustained injuries in a disastrous traffic crash on Clovis Avenue and Olive Avenue.

The incident happened at about 10:00 a.m. on Clovis Avenue and Olive Avenue.

A CHP officer was traveling west on Olive Avenue and stopped at a red light, according to CHP.

When the light turned green, the officer entered the intersection but was struck by a sedan traveling south on Clovis Avenue that ran the red light.

The collision caused the CHP vehicle to spin and hit another car nearby. Both the officer and the sedan driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
