SANTA BARBARA, CA (January 12, 2025) – Friday afternoon, a disastrous traffic crash on Highway 101 near Cat Canyon Road injured three people.

The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. on Highway 101 near Cat Canyon Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved at least two vehicles, including a Toyota truck and Mercedes G-Wagon.

Moreover, AMR ambulances transported three people to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria with moderate to major injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed multiple northbound and southbound lanes but has long since reopened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
