1 Person Hurt in San Antonio Auto Accident on 4800 Gus Eckert Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 9, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a disastrous vehicle crash on 4800 Gus Eckert Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of Gus Eckert Road.

According to the San Antonio Police, a car crashed through a wall of an apartment, striking an occupant of the house. Then, the vehicle’s driver fled the scene on foot after the incident.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the victim, a 21-year-old man, was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the vehicle’s driver for DWI and failed to stop and render aid.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the San Antonio Police continued to investigate the crash.
