Injuries Reported in Randolph County Auto Accident on Highway 63 near Cairo

RANDOLPH COUNTY, MO (July 14, 2026) – Sunday afternoon, a disastrous vehicle crash on Highway 63 near Cairo sent 4 people to the hospital.

The incident occurred at about 3:25 p.m., when a 2016 Ford Explorer was traveling northbound on Highway 63, south of Cairo.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 29-year-old woman was seriously injured after her vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned in the median.

An 8-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old girl also sustained injuries in the crash.

All four occupants were transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Troopers said everyone involved was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
