1 Person Arrested in San Antonio Traffic Accident on 11400 Interstate 10

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 24, 2026) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested Ricardo Maldonado Jr after a disastrous wrong-way crash on 11400 Interstate 10.

The incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. at the 11400 block of Interstate 10.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a northbound vehicle traveling in the southbound lanes struck a truck and a sedan.

Moreover, responders transported the 47-year-old female driver of the sedan to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the wrong-way driver, identified as 41-year-old Ricardo Maldonado Jr, for intoxication assault.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
