SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 9, 2026) – Sunday morning, a disastrous wrong-way crash on Interstate 37 and US Highway 181 injured two people.

The incident happened at around 3:17 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 37 off-ramp to US Highway 181.

According to reports, a northbound vehicle that was traveling in the southbound lanes collided with another vehicle.

Moreover, responders transported the wrong-way driver to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Also, the other driver sustained minor injuries and was evaluated by EMS at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the San Antonio Police Department continued investigating the crash.
