Doniphan Woman Injured in US 160 Vehicle Crash [Ripley County, MO]

Ripley County, MO (May 16, 2025) – Drivers were injured following a US 160 vehicle crash Thursday morning.

The traffic collision happened at 7:05 a.m. approximately 6 miles east of Doniphan.

Troopers said a westbound Mustang driven by a 50-year-old Poplar Bluff man crossed the center of the road and struck an eastbound SUV.

The driver of the SUV, a 44-year-old Doniphan woman, sustained minor injuries. She was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital.

Meanwhile, the Poplar Bluff man was airlifted to a Memphis Tennessee hospital with serious injuries.

MSHP said both drivers were wearing seat belts during the collision.
