Driver and Passenger Injured in Vehicle Crash on Brockton Avenue [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (April 14, 2022) – On Thursday, an 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl sustained injuries in a solo-vehicle crash on Brockton Avenue.

This traffic incident happened about 8 a.m. at the intersection of 12th Street.

Officers said the man was at the wheel of a 2004 Honda Civic traveling south when the vehicle swerved into the opposite lanes and slammed into a light pole.

Right away, the paramedics arrived and located the unidentified driver critically injured. The teen passenger, also not identified, sustained minor injuries.

The emergency team took them to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.

“At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors,” an officer says.
