Driver Hospitalized in West Hawkeye Avenue Vehicle Crash [Turlock, CA]

Turlock, CA (August 23, 2022) – On Saturday, two drivers sustained injuries in a West Hawkeye Avenue vehicle crash.

It was about 5:42 p.m. when the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response, arrived at the 300 Block area.

When they arrived, the rescuers located a Kia hatchback and a Ford sedan. Both of the vehicles only had one occupant during the crash.

Moreover, the officers investigating the incident say that one of the drivers was westbound while the other was eastbound. 

The eastbound driver made a U-turn in front of the westbound driver and was unable to avoid the crash.

As a result, one of the drivers sustained minor while the other had moderate injuries.  The paramedics rushed the moderately injured driver to a hospital while the driver with minor injuries refused hospitalization.

Officers are investigating the Turlock vehicle collision.
