COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (December 29, 2025) – Friday night, an alarming 2-vehicle crash on Airport Road and Powers Boulevard sent the driver to the hospital.

The incident happened at about 7:14 p.m. on Airport Road and Powers Boulevard.

Police said two vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection of Powers Boulevard and Airport Road. One driver was taken to a hospital with injuries sustained in the collision.

All southbound lanes of Powers were temporarily closed at the intersection but reopened by 9 p.m.
