SUV Driver Injured After Collision With Killeen ISD School Bus

Killeen, TX (March 13, 2026) — On Thursday morning, an SUV driver suffered minor injuries after a crash on Anna Lee Drive involving a Killeen ISD school bus.

The collision happened around 7:49 a.m. at the intersection of Anna Lee Drive and Carpet Lane. According to police, the driver of a Volkswagen SUV was traveling eastbound on Anna Lee Drive when a school bus heading north on Carpet Lane entered the intersection.

Investigators said the bus failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into the path of the SUV. The impact caused the SUV to overturn and land on its side.

Emergency medical crews responded to the scene and transported the SUV driver to AdventHealth for treatment of minor injuries.

The school bus driver did not report any injuries. Officials confirmed that no students were on board the bus at the time of the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
