Driver Hurt in Deadly 2-Vehicle Collision on Missouri Route 109 [Eureka, MO]

Eureka, MO (June 13, 2025) — A 56-year-old man was hurt, and a 36-year-old man lost his life on Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision on Missouri Route 109 in Eureka.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was driving a compact car northbound on Missouri Route 109, south of Niehoff Drive, when his vehicle crossed the center line and entered the southbound lane.

The car then collided head-on with a van driven by a 56-year-old man.

Emergency responders pronounced the 36-year-old driver dead at the scene. The van driver suffered moderate injuries and received medical attention.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. The Eureka Fire Protection District assisted at the scene.
