Police Investigate Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway in San Bernardino

San Bernardino, CA (September 28, 2025) – A courier service driver transporting U.S. Postal Service mail suffered major injuries Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on 10 Freeway in Alhambra.

The California Highway Patrol reported the collision occurred around 5:50 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the freeway, just west of Garfield Avenue.

Alhambra firefighters and paramedics responded within minutes, dispatching at 5:52 a.m. 

Emergency crews transported the injured driver to a hospital for treatment.

CHP confirmed that all eastbound lanes were closed at 6:14 a.m. while crews cleared the wreckage. 

Traffic resumed after lanes reopened at 7:12 a.m.

No additional details about the crash or other possible injuries were immediately available.
