PHOENIX, AZ (September 6, 2026) – Early Saturday morning, an alarming vehicle crash near 11th Avenue and Bell Road.

The incident occurred just after 1:00 a.m. near 11th Avenue and Bell Road.

Firefighters rescued a driver who was trapped inside a vehicle after a crash, according to the Phoenix Police Department. The driver was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A second driver, who was not publicly identified, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI, police said.
