Tow Truck Driver Injured in Interstate 5 Hit-and-Run Crash [Burlington, WA]

Burlington, WA (March 28, 2025) –  A male tow truck driver sustained injuries following an Interstate 5 hit-and-run crash Monday morning.

It was around 9:23 a.m. when the traffic crash happened on northbound freeway near the Skagit River bridge.

The tow truck driver was walking to contact the State Patrol trooper at the scene when he was hit.

Officers said the Avalon fled north taking the George Hopper Road exit.

Meanwhile, the authorities ask anyone with information on this collision to call trooper Scott Gustafson 425-923-6842. According to them, the Avalon According has black front wheels and silver wheel covers on the rear wheels.
