Driver James Mote Dead in I-10 Vehicle Crash [Yucaipa, CA]

Yucaipa, CA (May 7, 2025) – Driver James Mote, a 49-year-old resident of Yucaipa, was killed in an I-10 vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

The fatal crash happened around 1:24 a.m. on May 3 on the eastbound freeway, between Ford Street and Wabash Avenue. 

Responding officers declared Mote deceased at the crash scene.
