Driver Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Bellfort Street [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (May 24, 2025) – Two people were killed in a 2-vehicle crash on Bellfort Street Thursday.

Officers said the a Black male in his mid 20s was traveling east when a car pulled out in front of the suspect vehicle. 

The Black male’s vehicle struck the car that flipped on the side and power lines were on the car.

Responding officers tried to get the suspect driver from the vehicle, but the he shot himself in the head. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the car that was hit, a Hispanic male in his 40s, was sent to the hospital where he died.

Officers are still investigating the fatal crash.
