Driver Nathalie Arnold Dead in 2-Vehicle Crash on FM 255 [Nacogdoches, TX]

Nacogdoches, TX (March 1, 2025) – Nathalie Arnold, 87, of Douglass, was killed in a 2-vehicle crash on FM 255 Wednesday.

According to the authorities, Preston Alfred, 35, of Montalba, was westbound on the freeway while Nathalie Arnold was traveling east.

Officers said Alfred swerved off the road towards the shoulder and attempted to correct the vehicle into oncoming traffic but struck the vehicle driven by Arnold.

Preston Alfred was declared dead at the crash scene, while Nathalie Arnold was rushed to an area hospital, where she died.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
