Subaru Driver and Passenger Injured in 2-Car Crash on Aurora Avenue N [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (March 5, 2026) – A Subaru driver, a 66-year-old man, and his passenger, a 58-year-old woman, were injured in a 2-car crash on Aurora Avenue N late Monday night.

It was past 11 p.m. when the collision between a Subaru and a Hyundai happened on N 105th Street.

According to the witnesses, the Subaru driver was northbound on Aurora Avenue when it was rear-ended by the speeding Hyundai.

The impact pushed the Subaru approximately 80 to 100 feet before it rested pinned between the side of an O’Reilly Auto Parts store and a gray Hyundai. 

Inside the Subaru were the driver and his passenger. 

Investigators believe the Hyundai driver, a 30-year-old woman, may have been impaired at the time of the crash.

The emergency rescuers rushed all the three people to Harborview Medical Center.

The Subaru’s passenger and the Hyundai’s driver sustained minor injuries, while the Subaru’s driver incurred a serious head injury.
