It was before 5 p.m. on June 18 when a minivan and a black van collided head-on near Davis Boulevard, on the east side of the CPKC railroad tracks.

Immediately, rescuers responded and rushed the minivan driver to a local hospital.

Troopers said the minivan rested on the south side of the road after the collision.
