Drivers Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 395 [Mesa, WA]

Mesa, WA (August 12, 2025) – Two drivers were injured following a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 395 Sunday morning.

It was around 4:40 on August 10 when the traffic collision happened near Pepiot Road.

Responding WSP officers said a Saturn SC1 was traveling north on Pepiot Road when it drove into the southbound lane and struck a Toyota Scion.

The Saturn driver ran on foot from the scene, but was found and apprehended a short time later. Police believed alcohol was a factor in the crash and charges against the Saturn driver are pending.

Both drivers were transported to an area hospital.
