Vehicle Collision in Elbe Results in Fatality

Elbe, WA (August 15, 2025) – Drivers were injured in an SR 7 2-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.

According to the accident report, the driver of a black Toyota 4Runner was northbound on the freeway when they crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a red pickup truck.

Both drivers incurred serious injuries and were hospitalized.

Troopers said the Toyota’s driver was unconscious.

All the occupants in both vehicles were adults and the passengers of the pickup were not hurt in the accident.

Troopers said impairment did not play a role in this collision.

Officers are conducting a further investigation.
