Suspected DUI Collision on Telegraph Canyon Road Led to Serious Injury [Chula Vista, CA]

Chula Vista, CA (July 13, 2024) Early Friday morning, 2 drivers were hurt in a suspected DUI collision on Telegraph Canyon Road.

According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the 2-car crash happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection with Paseo Ladera.

Reports say that a Nissan and a Honda, driven by a 19-year-old driver, were involved in the crash.

Officials say that the driver of the Nissan was trapped in the wreckage, firefighters were able to rescue the man and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda, sustained minor injuries, police arrested the driver on suspicion of felony DUI.

Authorities are investigating the 2-car crash and have not released further information at this time.
