DUI Traffic Crash on Eagle Street Under Investigation [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (August 23, 2025) On Saturday morning, a suspected DUI driver caused a major traffic crash on Eagle Street that damaged multiple vehicles and led to injuries.

According to authorities, the frightening crash happened at the intersection with Eastmont Avenue at around 1:30 a.m.

Reports say that a driver of a gray Yukon SUV struck a sedan in the intersection. The impact pushed both vehicles into several parked cars, leaving a total of six vehicles damaged.

Authorities handcuffed the DUI driver and transported him to the hospital. The sedan driver was evaluated at the scene but declined further medical treatment. The crash also woke nearby residents, many of whom discovered their cars had been damaged.

The California Highway Patrol in East LA is handling the investigation.
