Dustin Reichert Hurt in Shocking Collision on US 395 [Adams County, WA]

Adams County, WA (August 15, 2025) – 45-year-old Dustin Reichert and 5 others were hurt and hospitalized Wednesday evening after a three-vehicle collision on US 395.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the frightening hit-and-run happened at the intersection of U.S. 395 and State Route 26 around 5:02 p.m.

Reports say that 6 people, including three children, were injured in the three-vehicle hit-and-run collision.

Authorities say that a silver SUV traveling south on U.S. 395 stopped at the ramp to SR 26, then pulled out in front of another SUV driven by 32-year-old Nelly Kereiyian. Kereiyian swerved into the eastbound lane, where her vehicle was hit by a pickup truck driven by Reichert. The impact sent her SUV into a guardrail and sign before it rolled down an embankment.

Troopers said the silver SUV’s driver briefly stopped before fleeing eastbound on SR 26.

Reichert and five of his seven passengers—including children aged 10, 6, and 3—were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Two other children from Pullman were unharmed. The pickup driver was not injured.

Investigators said the crash was caused by a failure to yield. The hit-and-run driver remains at large.
